Q: Is Deluxe Menu a search engine friendly one? Will my visitors see menu links if they have Javascript turned off?
A: Yes, Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly beginning with version 1.12.
Code in the following format should be added to the html page:
<div id="dmlinks">
<a href="menu_link1">menu_item_text1</a>
<a href="menu_link2">menu_item_text2</a>
...
</div>
The easiest way to generate a proper code for a search engine friendly menu is to use Deluxe Tuner
(for Windows OS only). In the main menu of Tuner chose "Tools -> Generate SE-friendly code", copy generated code and paste it in the html page,
right after your menu.
For example:
<!-- Deluxe Menu -->
<noscript><a href=http://deluxe-menu.com/>Javascript Menu by Deluxe-Menu.com</a></noscript>
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript1.2" src="dmenu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript1.2" src="data.js"></script>
<!-- Code for Deluxe Menu Items -->
<div id="dmlinks" style="font:normal 11px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma;color:#000000 ">
<a id="dmItem1" href="home.html">Home</a>
<a id="dmItem2" href="info.html">Information</a>
<a id="dmItem3" href="about.html">About Us</a>
</div>
<!-- End of Code for Deluxe Menu Items -->
