The menu looks different in IE compared to Firefox. In IE it is much
smaller.

Try to specify units in "px":
var itemPadding="3px";
var itemStyles = [
["itemWidth=150px"],
]
var menuStyles = [
["smHeight=200px"],
];
Try that.
